A message from our president:

Hello! Thank you for visiting Weblish.jp
We hope you are enjoying your experience as a student or as someone thinking about studying with us.

My vision for creating Weblish was to make a place on the internet where students of English can learn using media.  That means through video, news, radio and someday games.  To use your new skills in communication, Weblish offers online English lessons with professional instructors.  Lesson times are flexible because our students have busy
schedules.

I see Weblish as the future of global learning and our mission is to provide you with a well-planned, fun, interesting experience every time and provide you with the best service possible.   Moreover, since online lessons are YOUR lessons, we try to customize every lesson to suit your needs. It is only natural to relate English with what you know and build your language skills around what you are interested in. Instructors use Weblish's media and work one-on-one with you (or with a friend in a semi-private lesson). Our first video text series, THE EVENING NEWS teaches English to help you express yourself. It builds on key
techniques you need when discussing topics at work or with friends.

In 2007, we launched John's Comedy Eikaiwa Show on iTUNES. Also, we started live lessons, like a TV show, to talk with students around Japan. We have had students from Kagoshima to Hokkaido log onto the show. Thank you! I have had the great honor to work at some of the biggest and best Eikaiwa schools around Japan since 1998.  These experiences have helped shape Weblish, and it is from your feedback that our company
will be transformed in the future.

I know what it is like to learn a foreign language.  I have been studying Japanese for many years now.  I also have studied Spanish and Latin.  So from one student to another, I say GOOD LUCK and don't give up!   Weblish will be with you together until you get to your goal.

Best of luck,

John Daub
President
